Want to help protect the environment?
As you know: plastic pallets never decompose. Paper pallets are made from raw wood and need polluting chemical treatment for moisture resistance and bonding. New wooden pallets are the most environmentally sound, but unless they are made from plantation wood they still affect the ecosystem over time. All of these harm the environment. Reusing existing used pallets is the only choice that keeps a good world for the next generation.
Container and pallet sizes
The internal width of a container is 233 cm. The pallet formats most commonly used for containers are:
- US: 100 cm × 120 cm (40″ × 48″)
- EU: 80 cm × 120 cm
- JP: 110 cm × 110 cm
